FAQs

Clinical research shows that nutritional status directly impacts surgical outcomes, affecting healing, recovery, and overall results.
Optimise Results: The right nutrition for you will help you achieve your body composition goal pre surgery. It is well established that with any cosmetic/ plastic surgery, you should aim to stay within 5 kg of your body weight for life, otherwise results can be negatively affected. Ensuring you reach your weight and body composition goals is essential pre surgery, and maintenance post surgery to enhance your final aesthetic outcomes, so you can feel confident in your results.
Supports Skin and Collagen Health: Nutrients like protein and vitamins are vital for collagen production, improving skin elasticity and ensuring better healing post surgery.
Reduces Downtime: The right nutrition for you will provide essential nutrients for tissue repair and wound healing after surgery14. A well-nourished body recovers faster, with less swelling and inflammation, helping you return to your routine sooner.
Reduces risks associated with surgical procedures: pre surgical pathology work will be used to assess the health of your organs. Specific nutrition protocols can be advised to normalise your pathology pre surgery which aims to support organ function like the liver and kidneys, which can potentially improve your ability to process anesthetic drugs post surgery. Additionally, a balanced diet will help strengthen your immune system, reducing the risk of infections and complications post surgery25.
Complements Your Investment: Pairing expert nutritional guidance with your procedure ensures you’re giving your body the best foundation for long-term success and maintaining your results.
